Annie Lou Vickery, age 92, of Auburn, passed away Feb. 21, 2013, at Bethany House in Auburn. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Father Larry Shinnick officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.

Annie was born in Moundville, Alabama and later lived in Winfield, Tuscaloosa, and Greensboro before retiring in Auburn.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, John Daniel Vickery; her brothers, Richard F. Lewis Jr., Eugene Lewis, and Robert Lewis; and her parents, Richard and Marie Lewis.

Annie is survived by her daughters, Dianne Silva (Tony) and Lynne Bruce (Frank); her grandchildren, Sandi Silva Williams (Greg), Cindi Silva Bearden (Ken), Dan Silva (Lori), James Bruce (Vicki), and Kristi Silva Hanna (Bryan); 10 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Singleton; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Greensboro Methodist Church or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
