Mary Helen Ferri, 74, of Marion, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, in Selma.

She was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Cleveland, Miss., to the late Nicholas Garza and Maria Vargas Enriquez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Garza and Maria Vargas Enriquez; son, William Johnny Ferri Jr.; and daughter, Eva Ferri Stokes.

She is survived by her husband, William Johnny Ferri Sr. of Marion; daughters, Jo Anne Ferri Crenshaw of Gardendale and Sandra Ferri Phillips of Tuscaloosa; brothers, Joe Enriquez of Cleveland, Miss., Nick Enriquez Jr. of Collierville, Tenn., Pete Enriquez of Pearl, Miss., And Robert Enriquez of Greenville, Miss.; Sisters, Olivia Lara of Cleveland, Miss., Josephine Enriquez of Pace, Miss., Victoria McKnight of Ackerman, Miss., Alic Smith of Pace, Miss., Dora Hobdy of Hatiiesburg, Miss., Martha Enriquez of Brandon, Miss., and Cecilia Lucia of Rosedale, Miss.; grandchildren, Blake Crenshaw, Ryan Crenshaw, Presley Crenshaw, Wilson Phillips, Ashley Phillips, Seth Ferri, Lauren Stokes Taylor and Lana Stokes McDonald; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 6, at 11 a.m. At Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel with Father Richard Myhalyk officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Memorial Gardens. Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel will be directing.
