Obituary for Gene Allen Fisher

Gene Allen Fisher 71, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his home in Greensboro. Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 5PM in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the Church with Kirk Funeral Home Greensboro Chapel Directing. Wade McCrory and Robert Ferguson will be officiating the service.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Allen L. Fisher and Mary P. Fisher. His Wife Linda C. Fisher, his Son-in- law, W.C. (Rusty) Simmons and His Great-Grandson, Jeremy B. Fisher.

Survivors include his daughters, Pamela F. Sims (Gerald) and Tammy F. Spencer (Scott) both of Greensboro, Jennifer F. Redd (Butch) of Pensacola, FL.; son, Curtis L. Fisher (Leigh Ann) of Greensboro; sister, Mary E. Ferguson(Robert ) of Greensboro; brothers, John(Billy)Fisher (Sharon) of Merriville, IN and Vernon C. Fisher (Janice) of Manning, SC; grandchildren, Tanya S. Sealy (Jim), W. Cole Simmons (Michelle), Eryn Simmons, Justin S. Sims, Morgen L. Cox, Dillon L. Fisher, W. Chapman Spencer and Whitney S. Spencer; great-grandchildren; Anna Curtis Sealy, Madeline S. Sealy, James L. Sealy, W. Cade Simmons, G. Larsen Simmons and Wesley L. Moore.

Pallbearers will be; Cole Simmons, Jim Sealy, Justin Sims, Dillon Fisher, Chapman Spencer and Jackson Seale.

Honorary Pallbearers; Mary May, Brenda Bossey, Homestead Hospice and Hale Co Hospital East Wing staff.

Memorials may be made to New Haven Church Cemetery Fund. Flowers will be accepted.
