Carroll Dean Estes, age 77, of Gallion, died May 30, 30, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at Demopolis Memorial Gardens, with Randall Smith officiating, and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Randall W. Estes.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Goode Estes; daughters, Jan E. Tanner (Bob), of Gallion, and Warrie E. Compton (Edward, Jr.), of Demopolis; grandchildren, Ashley Tanner and Brittney Tanner.

Mr. Estes was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Boaz, to the late Clifford and Olsie Avoline Allgood Estes.

Pallbearers are Bob Tanner, Mitch Tanner, Joel Nobles, Ryan Eaves, Travis Lewis, and Edward Compton.

Honorary pallbearers are Hospice of West Alabama and Johnny and Nancy Bell.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
