Joan Vaughan, 83, of Demopolis, AL passed away May 19, 2016 at home.

She was born December 08, 1932 to Edward L. and Tossaleigh Coleman Vaughan. She was retired from the City Water Works.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Edward Lee Vaughan; sister-in-law Shirley Plummer Vaughan.

She is survived by her sister Fannie Laura Vaughan; nephew John Edward (Susan) Vaughan; niece Angela Vaughan (Stanley) Batchelor; grand nieces Zoe Grace Batchelor and Mia Rose Batchelor; grand nephews Curtis Edward Vaughan and James Allen
Vaughan.

Graveside service will be Sunday May 22, 2016 at Lipscomb Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

Active Pallbearers will be Ted Vaughan, Todd Vaughan, Jeremy Vaughan, Chad Wideman, Warren O’Shield, Mike Robertson and Patrick Baugh.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lipscomb Cemetery Fund in care of Jimmy Patterson.
