Obituary for James Walter "Son" Pearson

James Walter "Son" Pearson 91, of Demopolis, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2016, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday July 2, 2016, at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Tommy Tucker officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

He was born June 29, 1925, in Demopolis to the late James Claude and Ora Griffith Barnett Pearson.

He is preceded by his parents; sisters, Ira Bell Tucker, Claudia Baker and Margaret Coats.

He is survived by his sister Annie Ruth Haggard of Enterprise; niece, Marvene Pickard and Nena Baker of Jackson, Ms.; nephews, James Coats of Siloam Springs, Ar., Dan Baker of Jackson, Ms., Warren Haggard of Memphis, Tn., John Haggard of Columbus, Ms., Steve Haggard of New Brockton, Al., Claude Tucker of Medina, Tn., Tommy Tucker of Jackson, Tn. and Phillip Tucker of Jackson, Tn.
