Dorothy Ann Barnes 82, of Thomasville, passed away August 18, 2017, at her residence. Services will be held 11:30 Saturday August 26, 2017, at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Mickey Green and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 to 11:15 am before the service.

Mrs. Barnes was born May 23, 1935, in Arkansas, to O.B. and Sadie Reynolds Wilson.

She is preceded by her parents; 1st husband, Charles Clifton Harris; 2nd husband, T.Roy Barnes; sister, Molly Wilson Hargrave; son in law, Carlos Dockery; daughter in law, Linda Harris.

Survivors are her daughters, Margie Dockery and Sandra Dockery (David); son, Jimmy Harris; sisters, Mary Barnes and Joyce Johnson; brothers, Kenneth Wilson and Bob Wilson; 10 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Barnes, Ray Barnes, Thomas Hood, Harold Green, David Dockery and Chad Dockery.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Homestead Hospice.
