Cawthon V. Tucker 98, of Demopolis, passed away September 18, 2017, at Woodhaven Manor. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday September 21, 2017, from First Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Carl Williams officiating, Jeff Holland and Gary Tucker eulogizing, and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Visitation will be Wednesday night, September 20, at First Baptist Church in Demopolis, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Cawthon was born April 4, 1919, in Sweetwater, to Albert Talley and Corinne Hurt Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ulmer Tucker; daughters, Joanne Tucker and June Tucker; sons, Waymon Tucker and Harrell Tucker; granddaughter, Lynn Holland.

Survivors are her daughter, Nina T. Pruitt; sister, Nan Davis; brothers, Bly Tucker and Billy Tucker; 4 grandchildren, Fran Lee, Kelvin Tucker, Gary Tucker and Jeff Holland; 12 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wes Holland, Jake Holland, Stacy Luker, Todd Davis, Mark Davis and Nick Tucker.
