Mildred Snipes Hoggle 88, passed away November 8, 2017, at Marengo Nursing home in Linden. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m Friday November 10, 2017, from Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

She was born May 18, 1920, in Bibb County to Luther and Estelle Wyatt Snipes.

Mildred was preceded by her parents; husband, Donald Leon Hoggle; sisters, Shirley Jay, Virginia Yawn and Myra Clary; brother, Edward Snipes.

Survivors are her daughters, Lynn Hoggle Collins and Kathy Hoggle Barnes; grandchildren, John Wilburn, Dustin Barnes and Mathew Barnes; great grandchildren; Jacob Barnes and Presley Barnes.

Pallbearers will be George Jay, John Wilburn, Dustin Barnes, William Stuart, Steven Stuart and Chuck Jay.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joy Sunday School Class, First Baptist Church of Demopolis, Marengo Nursing home and Comfort Care Hospice.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
