Ouida Maxine Drummond Fowler, age 84, of Marion, passed away January 19, 2018, at Perry County Nursing Home. Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. John Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

She was born September 17, 1933, in Knoxville, Alabama, to David Mack and Ouida Henderson Drummond.

She was preceded by her parents and husband, Thomas Jackson Fowler.

Survivors are her daughters, Jacqueline Fowler Barkmann (Albert) of The Woodlands, Texas and Janet Fowler Crook of Loganville, Georgia; son, Jeffrey Thomas Fowler (Sandra) of Americus, Georgia; sisters, Marine Pratt (Lovie) of Sasche, Texas, Margine Johnson (Jim) of Doraville, Georgia and Betsy Pratt (Frank) of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; brother, David Mack Drummond, Jr. (Karen) of Northport, Alabama; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
