Helen Wilson Partridge
On February 13th, 2018 Helen Wilson Partridge went to her heavenly home. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted wife, sister and loyal friend to many. She enjoyed family, traveling, bridge and life to it’s fullest.
She lived most of her life in Demopolis and spent the past 13 years at Kirkwood by the River in Birmingham.
Helen was born in Sylacauga on May 9, 1922 to Dr. & Mrs. John W. Wilson. She grew up in Tuscaloosa and graduated from the University of Alabama. Helen was preceded in death by her five brothers: John, Frank, Meredith, Bill and twin Owen. She was also preceded in death by her loving husbands: Robert L. Williams of Spartanburg, SC., Steele Partridge of Demopolis, AL. and Dr. Clarence Partridge of Mobile, AL. and son Bob Williams and wife Janet of Monroeville, AL.
Survivors include her children Daisy Partridge Richardson (John) of Atlanta; Julianne Partridge Buckley (Jim) of Birmingham; Charles Steele Partridge III (Teresa) of Linden. Grandchildren: Bo Williams, Manning Williams, Mindy Williams Smith, Suzanne Williams, Julia Richardson, Helen Buckley, Michelle Partridge, Steele Partridge; Five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Leo’s Catholic Church on Friday, February 16th at 11am. Rosary at 10am and Visitation at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Leo’s Catholic Church, PO Box 937, Demopolis, AL 36732.
