Jean Aleithia Gilbert White 87, of Linden, passed away June 5, 2018, at Marengo Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 9, 2018, at 11 a.m from Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev David Willis officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Jean was born July 20, 1930, in New York, to Roy and Louise Compo Gilbert.

Survivors are her daughters, Sandy Dearman (Randy) of Demopolis, Jeannie Kostreba (Tony) of Atlanta, Ga., Cynthia Mitchell (David) of Washington N.C.,and Joanne Stultz (Ricky) of Atlanta, Ga; son, John White (Amanda) of Daytona Beach, Fl.; brother, Gerald Gilbert (Irma) of Demopolis; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
