Morris Cleveland Samples 79, of Demopolis, passed away July 4, 2018, at Druid City Hospital. Services will be held Saturday July 7, 2018, at 11 a.m from Rangeline Baptist Church with Brother David Compton and Rev. Randall Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Morris was born August 15, 1938, in Halcomd, Mo., to Martin Cleveland and Lucille Dye Samples.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim Samples, Pat Samples, and Lannie Samples; sisters, Delos Moore and Sheila Holsten.

Surviving Morris is his wife, Ethel Samples; sons, David (Cheryl) Samples, Randy (Paula) Samples, Lonnie Samples, and Phillip (Kristin) Samples; daughters, Marsha (Ron) Little, Joni (Pat) Mulvaney,and Marla (Tony) Beck; brothers, Jack Samples and Gary Samples; sister, Pamela "Suzie" Hall; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Samples, Phillip Samples,Marty Samples, Stephen Crawford, Kyle Samples, and Bryan Hurst.

Honorary pallbearers will be The Adult Men's Sunday School Class of Rangeline Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, or Rangeline Baptist Church, 5805 Co Hwy 19, Linden, AL 36748.
