Charles Russell Middlebrooks 82, of Marion passed away August 25, 2018, at his residence. A memorial service will be held August 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. from Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gervis Smith officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

He was born January 26, 1936, in Perry County, to Harley and Eloise Harrison Middlebrooks.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jane Middlebrooks Bradley; sister, Ruthlane Bamberg; brothers, Carlton Middlebrooks and Tommy Middlebrooks.

Surviving Charles is his daughter, Sheila M. Dozier (Ed); son, Charles Russell Middlebrooks Jr.; sister, Peg Stewart;6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.
