Obituary for Robert Hudson Stone
Robert Hudson Stone, 82 of Gallion, AL went to his eternal home on January 6, 2022. He was born on March 25, 1939 in Alabama to Robert Y.C. Stone and Buena Pearl Lawson Stone. He was a businessman and the owner of Plastic Containers.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Robert H. Stone, Jr.; and his sister, Hazel Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bennett Stone; his sisters: Elonra Stone Hamilton, Lillian Singleton, Carolyn Brunson, and Sybil Lynch; and his daughter-in-law, Lanette Stone. He is also survived by two grandchildren: Robert Stone III, and Hollie Stone.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Demopolis, AL with Rev. Timothy Davis officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
