Cecelia J. Irby 73 of Greensboro passed away Feb. 8, 2015, in Sylacauga. Services will be held Thursday Feb 12, 2015, at 11 a.m. from Greensboro Baptist Church with Rev. Dee McQuire officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Oakwood cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Cecelia was born April 6, 1941 in Biloxi, Ms, to the lale John F and Eva (Shug) Johnston.

Cecelia was preceded by her parents, John F and Eva (Shug) Johnston; husband, C. Wayne Irby.

Cecelia is survived by her Daughters Lisa I. Gaddis (Kenn) of Birmingham and Suzanna I Stevens of Harvest, Al; sons, John W. Irby (Carrie) of Harpersville, Al.; brothers, John F. Johnston Jr. (Cyd) of Greensboro, Al. and Daniel T. Johnston (Pat) of Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren,7.
