Obituary for Sarah Daniels McBrayer

Sarah Daniels McBrayer 88, of Demopolis, passed away on March 14, at her residence. Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday March 16, 2016, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Sarah was born May 10, 1927, in Neshoba County, Ms.

She was preceded by her parents, Elvin Clark and Bessie Luke Daniels; husband, Jessie McBrayer; brothers, B.W. Daniels and Clifford "Tebo" Daniels.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Cleveland (Rick) and Sandy McBrayer Baker both of Demopolis; son, Jessie Derrell McBrayer of Birmingham; sister, Dorothy D. Stokes (Joe) of Demopolis; grandchildren, Joshua Loring McBrayer, Thomas Reid McBrayer, Hayden McBrayer Fulmer (jay) and Morgan Diane McBrayer; great-grandchild, Eleanor Fulmer.


Pallbearers will be Thomas Reid McBrayer, Joey Clark Stokes, Dalton Tate Speed, Fred Roeman, Keith McBrayer, Steve McBrayer, Chris McBrayer, Wallace Raines.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees and staff of Comfort Care Hospice, Bettie Lipscomb Sunday School Class and TEL Sunday School Class of FBC.
