Dorothy Louise Kiker Vick 82, of Demopolis, passed away July 17, 2016, at Marengo Nursing Home. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday July 21, 2016, at Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Chad Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Vick was born December 20, 1933, in Surginer, Al.

She was preceded by her father, Edward Comer Kiker; sister, Bobbie Joyce Kiker Thornton; brother, Edward Comer Kiker Jr.; husband, Hurtis Fay Vick; son, Larry Elmore Vick; daughter, Brenda Faye Vick.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Louretta Edmonds Pate of Semmes; daughter, Marie Vick Singleton (Louie L.) of Demopolis;sisters, Ruth Kiker Smith, Donna Kiker Brockett and Sheryl Pate Willis(Danny) all of Semmes; brother, Gregory Wesley Pate of Semmes; grandchildren, Lee Singleton (Erika), Charles Singleton (Ellen), Tammy Vick, Alex Vick, Barry Vick and Larry E. Vick Jr.; great grandchildren, Charlie Singleton, Maddie Singleton, Gavin Singleton and Anna Marie Singleton.

Pallbearers will be Lee Singleton, Charles Singleton, Jimmy Blakenship, Michael Thornton, Luther Massey and James Edmonds.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ronnie Chu and Staff, Marengo Nursing Home Staff, Southern Care Hospice Staff, Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Staff and David Carden.
