William Harvey Large 74, of Demopolis, passed away October 16, 2016. A Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday October 20, 2016, from Demopolis Memorial Gardens and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

He was born September 18, 1942, in Jefferson County to the late Emmett William and Elizabeth Dobbs Large.

He was preceded by his parents; sister, Joyce L. Davis.

He is survived by daughters, Latrisa L. (Perry) Solomon of Eutaw, Jennifer L. (Mike) Schroeder of Demopolis, Lauren E. Large of Pensacola, Fl., Robyn N. (Logan) Smith of Lucedale, Ms. and Amber D. Biggs of Gallion; sons, William Harvey Large II of Gulf Shores and Jonathon Wesley Large of Navarre, Fl.; sister, Joan L. (Bill) Hill of Birmingham; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be William Large II, Christian Large, Mike Schroeder, Perry Solomon, Logan Smith, Scott Mitchell, Jonathon Large, August Grayson, Trent McDowell and Rollin Biggs.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Warren, Ron Lewis and Kenny Pate.
