Christopher Lane Foster 54, of Gallion, passed away at his residence on March 23, 2017, at his residence. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday March 27, 2017, at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Stevens and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

He was born March 22, 1963, in Selma, to Billy Ray and Geraldine Capitina Foster.

Chris was preceded by his father, Billy Ray Foster; brother, Mark Foster.

He is survived by his wife, Vanya Maria Wilson Foster; daughters, Mary Azilee Foster, Rebekah Phares Foster and Sarah Ruth Foster; son, Matthew Lane Foster; brothers, Darien Foster of Tuscaloosa, Brian Foster of Taylorsville, Ga., Todd Foster (Peggy) of Gallion, Paul Foster (Stephanie) of Canton, Ga. and Steven Foster (Ralene) of Demopolis; nieces and nephews, Brittany (Cory) Holmes, Shaun (Catlin) Foster, Jonathan Foster, Kimberlee (Sam) Etheredge, Steven Foster, Jeremy Foster, Devin Foster, Mary Elizabeth Foster, Trevor Foster, Kristi Foster, Stevani Foster, Anna Grace Foster and William Foster; great nieces and nephews; Easton Foster and Mckenzie Holmes.

Pallbearers will be members of Demopolis Fire Rescue Dept.

Honorary pallbearers are Brian Foster, Darien Foster, Todd Foster, Paul Foster and Steven Foster.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Old Springhill Volunteer Fire Dept.
