Obituary for Elizabeth Ayres Pollard

Elizabeth Ayres Pollard of Birmingham, Alabama died unexpectedly on September 5, 2017. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Richard Dodd of Birmingham, Alabama, her parents Warren and Heather Pollard of Las Curces, New Mexico, her sister Rebecca Campbell, nieces Lynn, Cate and nephew Graham, her brother Howard Pollard (Jennifer Brougham) niece London, her soul sister Rachel Vrubel (Nathan), godchildren Eli,Cora Rose,Henry,Vivian and many dear and loyal friends. Elizabeth was born on July 2, 1969 in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. She graduated from New Mexico State University with a degree in Theatre Arts and from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Dramaturgy. She touched the lives of many theatre arts students and drama lovers with her knowledge and skills of costume design, lighting and theatre history. She was as quick and nimble with a thread and needle as she was to shower her family, friends, and students with her quick wit and compassion. She worked in both university and artist in residence settings across the country and will be dearly missed by those who's creativity and passion for the arts she fostered. Her life will be celebrated on September 13, 2017 at 11:00 am in a service at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Greensboro, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Elizabeth Ayres Pollard Endowment at New Mexico State University. You may mail checks to the NMSU Foundation, P.O.
