George Lee Flowers Sr. 82, of Gallion, passed away September 14, 2017, at his residence. A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m. Sunday September 17, 2017, from Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel with Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

George was born in Campground, to William S. and Hattie B. Parnell Flowers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Flowers, Marvin Flowers and Riley Flowers.

Survivors are his wife Ruth M. Bable Flowers; daughter, Sharon F. Day; sons, George L. Flowers (Jo Anne), Christopher H. Flowers and William E. Flowers; sister, Mary Ann Pickel; brothers, James Flowers and Earl Flowers; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
