Jerry Swan Taylor 86, of Marion, passed away October 29, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday November 4, 2017, from Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bob Mizell officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Jerry was born February 24, 1931, in Perry County, to Milton Columbus and Francis Swan Taylor,

He was preceded by his parents; wife, Shirley Harper; son, Scott Taylor.

Survivors are his daughters, Debi Taylor; son, Boyd Taylor; brother, Conrad Taylor; 9 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Wade Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Nathan Richardson, Arthur Lewis and Nick Camtanotta.
