Stephen Parker Gentry 62, of Greensboro, passed away November 5, 2017, at his residence. Services will be held 2:30 Tuesday November 7, 2017, from First United Methodist Church of Greensboro with Rev. Steve Vernon, Dr. James Moore and Rev. Dee Mcguire officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born September 13, 1955, in Demopolis, to the late Hoyle Stanley and Allie Jean Price Gentry.

Survivors are his wife, Debra Hill Gentry; daughter, Angela Cargile Rose (Robbie) of Greensboro; sons, Joshua Neal Gentry and Jordan Parker Gentry; sister, Jennifer Gentry Clem (Jimbo) of Demopolis; brother, Dan Price Gentry (Melissa) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Noah Parker Gentry, George Lewis Morrison, Morgan Tayler Rose and Katherine Tenley Rose.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Kane, Adam Gentry, Lloyd Eicher, Robbie Rose, Charles Moore, Jimbo Clem and David Hill.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Disciples of Methodist Church Sunday School class.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Comfort Care for their care of Steve.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity's of one choice.
