Obituary for Chanie Walker Dotson
Chanie Walker Dotson 78, of Demopolis, passed away peacefully at home on January 3, 2017. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. January 5, 2017, at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Nick Dorsey officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel.
Chanie was born April 29, 1939, in Foley, Fl., to Leon Carlton and Katie Sadler Walker.
She was preceded by her parents; husband, Charles L. Dotson; grandchildren, Haley Necole Dotson and Charles Aubrey Dotson.
Survivors are her daughter, Tina Dotson Yaun (Steve) of Gulf Shores; Son, Charles L. Dotson Jr. of Dauphin Island; brother, John W. Walker of Anderson, S.C.; grandchild, Kaitlyn Channie Yaun of Mesa, Al.
Pallbearers will be Ben Sherrod III, Steve Tatum, John Cross and Rick Dunn.
