Evelyn Faye Mitchell 87, of Valley Grande, passed away February 24, 2018, at Southland Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday February 28, 2018, from Pine Flat Baptist Church in Sprott with Rev. Kenny Hatcher officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the Church.

She was born May 28, 1929, in Chilton County, to the late Oscar and Bessie Wells Sewell.

Survivors are her sons, William Randy Mitchell and Stuart Irby Mitchell; grandchildren, Lauren Michele Mitchell, David Lynn Terry and Kaitlyn Brooke Anderson; great grandchildren, Kailee Taveras and Kaden Lucas.

Pallbearers will be Randy MItchell, Stuart Mitchell, Gary Haugen, Allen Ham, Randy Burge and Dexter Anderson.
