Obituary for Roxie Louise Reynolds

Roxie Louise Reynolds 100, of Demopolis, passed away on March 13, 2018, from Woodhaven Manor in Demopolis. A graveside service will be held Friday March 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. from Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson with Rev. Nita Wilburn and Rev. Richard Bryant officiating. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing.

She was born October 27, 1917, in Newton, Ms., to Edward Warren and Roxie Gibbs Briggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents;first husband, William Caldwell Allen; second husband, Evan Clark Reynolds; son, Caldwell Allen Jr.

Survivors are her daughter, Anne Allen Thompson (Richard); sons, Edward Gray Allen (Betty), James "Jimbo" Allen (Diane), Henry Warren Allen (Jodie) and John Weldon Allen; step children, Dr. Doug Reynolds (Gwen), Alo Reynolds Guttery and Clark Reynolds: 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gray Allen Jr., Jim Faulkner III, John Weldon Allen Jr., Jim Allen Jr., John Allen and William Caldwell "Trey" Allen III.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jefferson Cemetery Fund Care of George Norris, 25720 Al. Hwy 28, Demopolis, Al., 36732.
