Obituary for Eddie Dewey Willingham

Eddie Dewey Willingham 85, of Demopolis, passed away August 15, 2018, at home with family. Services will be held Friday, August 17th, at 2 p.m. at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Reverend Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. The graveside service will include Masonic Funeral Rights led by his Brothers of Lodge 49. Visitation will be held beginning at 1 p.m. at Kirk Funeral Homes.

Eddie was born July 14, 1933, in Morton, MS to James Dewey and Era Mae Wiggins Willingham.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sandra Jane "Sandy" Willingham Yeager; grandson, Rusty Yeager; brothers, James Ronald Willingham and Ellis Howard Willingham; and sister, Florene Willingham Hudson Gilmore.

Surviving Eddie is his wife Agnes Anderson Willingham; sons, Jimmy Ronald "Ronnie" (Robin) Willingham and Paul Anthony (Laurie) Willingham; grandchildren, Erin, Courtney, Brandon, Jacob, and Emily; great grandchildren, Ella Giles, Charlie, Camilla, and Crosby.

Pallbearers will be Don Singleton, Andy Morgan, Brandon Smith, Jacob Willingham, Charles Ramsey, and Randy Freeman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church.

The family would like to express special thanks to Mary Johnson, Thelma Lomax, Tremese Lomax, Willie Taylor, Kiah Taylor, and Southern Care Hospice.
