Lewis G. Blackburn, age 94, passed away September 13, 2018, at Heritage Health Care and Rehab in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He was born November 18, 1923.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fleming Cooke Blackburn and Lewis G. Blackburn, Sr.; his wife, Sybil Ryan Blackburn; son, Rickey Boothe; his sisters; and his twin brother.

He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Jim Ryan (Linda) and Glen Ryan (Wanda), sister-in-law, Glenda Ryan; grandson, Tommy Boothe; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at St. Wilford’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Marion, Ala., on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Jim Ryan officiating and Kirk Funeral Home directing.

Viewing will be held on September 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Kirk Funeral Home in Marion, Ala.

Lewis was a true gentleman, and enjoyed dancing and gardening.
