Dewitt King Barker 82, of Mocksville, NC., passed away September 24, 2018, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice. A graveside service will be held Saturday September 29, 2018, at 2 p.m. from Marion Cemetery with Rev. Lyn Hurston officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

He was born August 12, 1936, in Marion, to Dewitt King and Edna Griffin Barker Sr.

Dewitt was preceded by his parents; wife.

Surviving Dewitt is his daughters, Rebekah King Barker Brown and Deborah Leigh Barker Osborne; grandson, Douglas DeWitt Brown.
