Mary Rose Strickland Vann 83, of Uniontown, passed away December 13, 2018, at Rush Hospital in Meridian. A graveside service will be held Sunday December 16, 2018, at 2 p.m. from Rosemont Cemetery with Pastors, Ronnie Blankenship, Scott Hale, and Robert Walker. Visitation will be held Saturday December 14, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

She was born on January 19, 1935, in Half Acre, Al., to B. R. and Ida Dell McCrory Strickland.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elijah Bell Vann Jr., brothers Franklin Roosevelt Strickland and Jack Marion Strickland; sister, Dorothy Strickland Lott; sons James Boyd Vann and Jerry Lee Vann, great grandchild, Katie Elizabeth Hope Vann.

Surviving Mary is her Daughter, Brenda Brunson (Huett) of Browns; Sons, Thomas Wayne Vann (Tammy) and Gordon Vann (Mary) both of Uniontown; Brothers, B.R. Strickland and Larry Strickland; Sisters, Dell Sager and Pamela Strickland; a host of nieces and nephews and many front yard friends.

Pallbearers will be Tim Vann, David Vann, Nick Vann, Ben Vann, Rachel Duke and Caleb Vann

Seven Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild.
