Obituary for Betty Greene Allen
Betty Greene Allen 80, of Demopolis, passed away Saturday January 12, 2019, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. Services will be held Tuesday January 15, 2019, at 2 p.m from First United Methodist Church in Demopolis with Rev. David Willis officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
She was born February 28, 1938, in Forkland, to Ralph and Bernice Hicks Greene.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene Tillman Greene and Johnny Gordon Greene.
Surviving Betty is her husband, Rodney Clark Allen; daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Allen Donaldson (Mark) of Fultondale, Wendy Allen Dement (Leland) of Gardendale, and Amy Leigh Allen of Woodstock, Ga.; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Donaldson, Matt Donaldson, Kaleb Donaldson, Blake Donaldson, Leland Dement, and Shawn Allen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 204 E. Decatur St., Demopolis, Al., 36732.
