Dorothy Hobson McClellan, 63, of Akron, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. The family will receive friends at Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 from 1 until 2. A graveside service will be held after the visitation at 2:30 at the family's cemetery, The McClellan Plot. The cemetery's address is 22051 CR 32, Akron, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church 186 CR 34, Akron. Bro. Cliff Patterson will be officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing.

Dorothy was born December 14, 1955, in Bibb County, to Richard Brady Rachel Dee Lee Stone Hobson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Middleton.

Surviving Dorothy is her husband, Michael Russell McClellan; daughters, Amy McClellan Perez and Kelly McClellan Hall; sons, Matthew Scott McClellan and Michael Adam McClellan; sisters, Judy Hobson, Melissa Mayfield, and Carolyn Ramsey; brothers, Bobby Stone, Raymond Hobson, Dick Hobson, Joseph Hobson, and Larry Hobson; 15 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be B J Fowler, Bradley Walker, Triston Hall, Wesley Hall, Bill Wyatt, Bert Baxter, and Josh McClellan.
