Cecelia "Cile" Yelverton McCarter 74, of Forkland, passed away Monday March 18, 2019, at UAB Hospital. Services will be held Friday March 22, 2019, at 11 a.m. from Forkland Methodist Church with Rev. Darin Easter officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday night March 21, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Friday March 22, 2019, at the church.

Cile was born July 14, 1944, in Jackson , to Clyde and Evelyn Ray Yelverton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray McCarter; brother, Kip Yelverton.

Surviving Cile is her daughters, Kim M. Fraser (Terry) and Rae Ann Brame; son, Bill McCarter (Jean); sister, Janet Marlowe (Jimmy); brothers, Will Yelverton (Wanda) and Melvin Yelverton (Terri); grandchildren, Mallie Quarles (Tony), Will Ayres (Ryan), Olivia Brame, Caroline Brame, Lauren Nelson (Sage), Audrey Fraser, Ben McCarter (Evelyn), and Rob McCarter; 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Will Ayres, Sage Nelson, Tony Quarles, Ben McCarter, Rob McCarter, Jim Witherspoon, Trey Yelverton, and Kenny Phillips.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Forkland Methodist Church and the Bunco Girls.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Forkland Methodist Church or Forkland Methodist Cemetery.
