Irma Louise Morris 85, of Greensboro, passed away Tuesday March 19, 2019, at Hospice of West Alabama. A graveside service will be held Saturday March 23, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. from Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church with Ray Averette officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. from New Hope Baptist Church.

Irma was born August 28, 1933, in Akron, to Allen and Rachel Harris Acre.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving Irma is her Step daughter, Lisa Blackburn (Keith); grandchildren, Michelle Brown (Richard), Allison Morris, Bret Morris (Michelle), Tonya Westbrook, Johnathon York, Chris York, and Tim Blackburn; sisters,Faye Lyles and Virginia Rogers; sister in love, Esther Acre, Louise Morris, and Ruth Wyatt (Bobby); great grandchildren, Hayden, Hadley, and Gaby.

Pallbearers will be Shannon McCrory, Gene Rogers, Brian Lyles, Allen Acre, Tim Morris, Chad Wyatt, Joe Acre, and Steve Acre.

Honorary pallbearers will be her New Hope Church Family, her Akron School Alum, Bruce Acre, Tony Acre, and Jason McCrory.
