Obituary for Arthur James "Jimbo" Wheatley
Arthur James "Jimbo" Wheatley 74, of Demopolis, passed away Monday July 29, 2019, at his residence..Services will be held at First United Methodist Church of Demopolis on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Larry Anderson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Jimbo was born November 21, 1944, in Tuscaloosa, to Arthur James and Pauline Rutledge Wheatley.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include, Arthur James "Jimmy" Wheatley III, Maude Ryder, Stacy Hyche (John), Jon Taylor, and Ryder Hyche, and Margaret W. (Buddy) Cross.
Pallbearers are John Cross, Butch Barger, Eric Barger, Butch Barger Jr., Drake Cross, and Nathan Cross.
