Obituary for James Wesley Walker
James Wesley Walker 81, of Spanish Fort passed away Sunday August 11, 2019. A graveside service will be held Friday August 16, 2019, at 11 a.m. from Oakwood Cemetery with The Rev. Thack Dyson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel directing. A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday August 15,2019, at 10 a.m from St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Daphne.
He was born October 31, 1937, in Greensboro, to John Irvin and Artie Merle Clary Walker.
Surviving James is his wife, Nancy Lee Adams Walker; daughters, Wendi Lee Jackson of Spanish Fort and Hallie Kay Walker of Knoxville, Tn.; son, James John Walker of Spanish Fort; sister, Vera Mae McRoy of Overland Park, Ks.; brother, Charlie Walker of Mathews, N.C.; 9 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Walker Jackson, Adams Jackson, Aiden Walker, River Schlarb, and Ethan Boggs.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Building Fund, Daphne, Al, 36536.
