Obituary for Goldie Mae Lynn Millsap

Goldie Mae Lynn Millsap 92, of Demopolis, passed away October 9, 2019, at home. Services will be held Saturday October 12, 2019, at 11 a.m. from First Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

She was born August 30, 1927, in Row, Ok., to John Wiley and Myrtle Mandolin Storie Lynn.

Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Eugene Millsap; son in law, Charlie Raia.

Surviving Goldie are her daughters, Freda Reynolds (Tommy), Gail Jones (Mike), Connie Gatlin all of Demopolis, and Gloria Raia of Smyrna, Ga.; grandchildren, Tammy Clevinger (Randy), Thomas Walker Reynolds Jr. (Ozzy), Dana Jones Rose, Michael Wade Jones, John Weldon Allen Jr. (Eve), Christina Allen Barnett (Jake), Stephen Ross Gatlin (Andrea), and Heather Noel; great grandchildren, Clayton Randall Clevinger (Lexi), Colton Thomas Clevinger, Anna Morgan Reynolds, Riley Elizabeth Reynolds, Stevie Leigh Fields, Ryan Walker Reynolds, Peyton Melyn Rose, Madeline Resse Rose, Jacob Cy Rose, Hobbs Howard Rose, and William Jacob Barnett; great great grandchild, Charlee Jean Clevinger.

Pallbearers will be Walker Reynolds, Jake Barnett, Wade Jones, and John Weldon Allen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Comfort Care Hospice, Dora Eriby, Dorcas Sunday School Class, and Share and Care Group.
