George Bernice Peppenhorst, 75, died Friday, December 13, 2019 at his home in Demopolis surrounded by his family. George was born in Linden, AL on April 1, 1944 to William Bernice and Velma Glass Peppenhorst.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son George "Jeremy" Peppenhorst, sisters Barbara Oliver (Don) and Jean Allen (Hugh).

He is survived by his wife, Janis Miller Peppenhorst, daughter, Windy P. White (Robby) of Molino, FL, brothers William G. Peppenhorst (Phyllis) of Birmingham, Samuel D. Peppenhorst (Sarah) of Demopolis and his sister, Faye Bishop (Bob) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Randall D. White (Susan) and Brandi Overstreet (Robert) as well as 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held will be on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by graveside services at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Kim Webb officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes directing.

Pallbearers will be Bo Williams, Manning Williams, Ray Miller, Butch Barger, George Mattison, and Grant Mattison.
