Obituary for June Humble (Etheredge)
On January 21, 2020, June Etheredge Humble, 84, went to her eternal home.
She was born on June 30, 1935 to Robert Livingston "Pappy" Etheredge and Sadye Belle Thomas-Etheredge ("Mimmie") .
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband C L "Verne" Humble; daughter Anna Hill Williams (Robert); grandchildren: (Triplets) Faith, Hope, and Charity Hill; brother R.J. Etheredge (Mildred); sister Ethel Pangburn (Ken); Mother and Father-in-law Homer "Papa" & Inez "Mama" Humble; and brother-in-law Ron Humble.
She is survived by her sons Gus Humble (Tammy) and Homer Humble II (Sandy); daughter April Humble; grandchildren: Chris Hill, Alecia Hill, Chrystal Williams Malone (Bobby), Caliese Humble, Camille Humble, Eileen Humble Purnell (Spencer), Natalie Humble, Codi Humble, Kaleena Hagebush, and Andrew Hagebush and many great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her nieces: Connie Humble, Rhonda Bostwick (Donnie); nephews: David Lee Humble (Kim), Douglas Humble (Francesca), Robert Etheredge (Pam),and Shane Etheredge (Judean); sister-in-law Angela Canty; brother-in-law David Humble (Annabel); as well as many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis. Funeral service will be in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev.Carl Williams officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes directing.
Pallbearers will be: Gus Humble, Bill Noland, Homer Humble, Matthew Noland, Paul Malone, and Steve Richardson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church, Demopolis for Operation Christmas Child.
