Obituary for Dr. Charles Kimbrough "CK" Madison Sr.

Dr. Charles "CK" Kimbrough Madison, Sr. , 82, went to his eternal home on February 18, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1937 in Hale County, AL to Charles Emory Madison and Naomi Dunkin Madison. He served in the United States Navy for 24 years.

He was predeceased in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Crocker Madison; son Charles "Charlie" K. Madison, Jr. (Reda); daughters Marianna "Nell" C Lehr, and Tonya "Toni" McCoy (Randy); Step-son David Hutton (Terri); step-daughter Amy Smith (Randall); sister Shirley Epperson (William) and nephews Mike Bennett and Eddie Bennett (Teresa).

He is also survived by grandchildren: Kimberley Whittaker, Michael Madison, Stacy Tarango (Lorenzo), Randy Markgraf (Barbara), Joshua Markgraf (Lilliana), Charles Madison (Nikki), Shawn Madison, Joseph Potter, Jacqueline Shows, Jonathan Detty (Nicole), Jennifer Grimm, Michelle Howard (Matthew), Rachel Reynolds (Richard) and Lauren Smith.

His great-grandchildren are: Cabot Whithaker, Nathanael Tarango, Gabriel Tarango, Kristopher Tarango, Mya Markgraf, Maverick Markgraf, Dakota Crites, Charlotte Madison, Shayan Markgraf, Brandon Shows, Logan Shows, Emmett Shows, Jonathan Detty, Jonathan Grimm, Alayna Grimm, Kaitlyn Grimm and Devin Grimm.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis. Funeral service will be in the chapel at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Randall Smith and Rev. Scott Fulford officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Interment will be at the Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
