Obituary for Vera Adams Holcombe
Vera Adams Holcombe, 99 went to her eternal home on March 8, 2020. She was born on May 15, 1920 in Lawley, AL to Eugene Adams and Sadie Barnes Adams.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Emory William Holcombe, Jr. She is survived by her son William Hart Holcombe; her daughter Jill Holcombe Childs (James) and her sister-in-law Jessie Mae Adams.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Siloam Baptist Church. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. with Rev. John Nicholson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. Following the service, interment will be at Marion Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Lovejoy, James Lovejoy, Jeremiah Lovejoy, Joseph Lovejoy, Joshua Lovejoy, and David Caffee.
