James Ira Hill, Sr. , 84, of Linden, AL went to his eternal home on April 25, 2020. He was born on November 11, 1935 in Octogan, AL to Marion Bernice Hill and Ella R. Rivers Hill. He worked as a crew leader for the paper mill.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Belva June Hill. He is survived by his son, James Ira "Jimmy" Hill, Jr. of Linden, AL; his daughters Teresa Partridge (Charlie) of Linden and Sharon Cox (Steve) of Gallion, AL, He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
A private family graveside funeral service was held on May1, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Demopolis, AL with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
