My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to end all suffering. Before long, God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things (will) have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4). May this promise from God give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

We were not Blood, but we were akin.
We were not Blood, but we were Brothers
We were not blood, but we were Family
We had a love of all things History
We had a love of Family and friends
We had a friendship that comes along only once in a lifetime.
It has been said of you over the last several days, He was one of those friends you talk to and not see for a long time, and when we would see you again, we just pick back up right where we left off.
We have done so many things together over the years good and bad , Happy and Sad. And now you have crossed over the river Jordan to the other side, Now you go sit there under the shade of that old tree and rest, rest easy you have earned it. I will be there before you know it and we will pick up where we left off.

Lay down
Your sweet and weary head
The night is falling
You have come to journey's end
Sleep now
And dream of the ones who came before
They are calling
From across the distant shore
Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see
All of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms
You're only sleeping
What can you see
On the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea
A pale moon rises
The ships have come to carry you home
And all will turn
To silver glass
A light on the water
All Souls pass
Hope fades
Into the world of night
Through shadows falling
Out of memory and time
Don't say
We have come now to the end
White shores are calling
You and I will meet again
And you'll be here in my arms
Just sleeping
What can you see
On the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea
A pale moon rises
The ships have come to carry you home
And all will turn
To silver glass
A light on the water
Grey ships pass
Into the West
