Obituary for Gordon Henry Moore
Gordon Henry Moore, 91, of Gallion, AL went to his eternal home on July 5, 2020. He was born on September 13, 1928 in Demopolis, Alabama to David Alexander Moore and Willie Lee McMillian Moore. He worked as an oil distributor at Cleveland Moore Oil Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mary Willingham Moore; his brothers Vernon Moore, David Moore and Hawkins Moore; his sisters Frances Rowe and Dorothy Smitherman, and a grandson Josh Moore. He is survived by his daughters Terre M. Moore (Pat) and Mary Ann Mullins (John). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Morgan Walters (Clay), Mary Michael Cowling, Madelyn Mullins, Henry Mullins, John Moore, Laura Justice, and Jesse Moore as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 10:00 am with Tim Hall and Ray Smith officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Pallbearers are: John Cox Webb, Dr. Ted Stenderman, John Gross, Scott Parten, and Kenny Freeman.
