Obituary for Betty Josephine Ferguson (Crawford)
Betty Josephine Crawford Ferguson, 91 of Greensboro, AL went to her eternal home on August 28, 2020. She was born on May 2, 1929 in Greensboro to Walter Smith Crawford, Sr. and Mayola Melissa Scales Crawford. She was a devoted housewife and mother and worked as a bank teller and a librarian.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands Huston Woodrow Tidmore and Morris Howell Ferguson; her sister Rubye Small; and her brother Walter Crawford. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Gentry (Dan), Melanie Broussard (Wendell) and Renee Cobb. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Greensboro Cemetery in Greensboro with John Alexander officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Greensboro Presbyterian Church or St. Judes.
