Obituary for Dr. Joe Harold Bailey
Dr. Joe Harold Bailey, 86 of Pensacola, FL went to his eternal home on September 9, 2020. He was born on December 13, 1933 in Montgomery, AL to Jefferson Davis Bailey and Myrtle Ruth Shows Bailey. After graduating from college, he worked as an optometrist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, JoAnn Bailey; and his sister, Connie Sue. He is survived by his wife, Jean Graydon Bailey, his sons: Lance Bailey (Christa) and Blain Bailey of Demopolis; his stepchildren: Tim Graydon (Jeanne), Dawn Dean (Dan), and Tony Graydon (Andi). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Anna Bailey, Abby Bailey, Ally Bailey, Jack Bailey, Andy Graydon (Mary Reading), Nat Dean (Cyndi), Haley Dean, Scott Graydon and Reese Graydon.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Demopolis, AL. Graveside services will follow at the Demopolis Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 3:30 pm with Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
