Thomas Floyd Bamberg, Sr., 93 of Marion, AL went to his eternal home on September 15, 2020. He was born on May 23, 1927 in Perry County, AL to Watson Clifford Bamberg and Annie Elma Sims.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters: Annie Greenway, Bernice Bamberg, Mabel Bamberg, Irma Hobson, O'Neil Bamberg, and Sara Clements; and his brothers: Clifford Bamberg, Gathon Bamberg, and Waymon Bamberg.
He is survived by his wife, Vermelle Phillips Bamberg, his daughters: Carolyn B. Edwards (Harold), Harriette B. Jones (Alan), and Margaret B. Sellars (Curtis); his son Thomas "Tommy" F. Bamberg, Jr. (Linda) and his sisters: Ida Mae B. Crocker, and Neva B. Aiken. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on September 18, 2020 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL at 11:00 am with Thomas "Tommy" F. Bamberg, Jr. officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be: Cary Edwards, Scott Bamberg, Brian Edwards, Danny Bamberg, Dylan Bamberg, and Sawyer Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers are: Harold Edwards, Alan Jones, and Curtis Sellars.
