Claflem Sue Taylor Norman, 79, of Cottondale, AL went to her eternal home on December 9, 2020. She was born on October 3, 1941 in Butler, AL to Dr. Norman Karl Taylor and Mida Claflem Rucker. She worked as a bookkeeper at Norman's Chevron.
She was preceded in death by parents and a baby brother. She is survived by her husband, John Eldridge Norman; her daughter, Janise Claflem Norman of Cottondale, AL; her son, John Earl Norman of Cottondale; and her sisters Rebecca GiaQuinta of Orlanda, FL and Mary Nadyne Quinn of Florham Park, NJ. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Luke Norman Seale, Morgan Norman Averette, Lisbeth Claflem Seale and Jules Michael Prescott; as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Greensboro Cemetery with Craig Vail officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing. Pallbearers are: Luke Seale, Jeff Fox, Jules Prescott, and Lee Averette. Honorary pallbearers are the Alabama Hospice Care.
