Obituary for Linda Carter (Harris)
Linda Harris Carter, 69 of Greensboro, AL went to her eternal home on February 14, 2021. She was born in Perry County, AL on May 18, 1951 to LC Harris and Ruby O'Neal Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father John Martin; her daughter Pamela Jo Carter; and her brother Charles Harris. She is survived by her husband Donald Carter of Greensboro; sons Wayne Carter (Brenda) and Michael Carter (Jennifer) both of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister Peggy Black of Northport, AL; and her brothers Robert Martin of Greensboro and Carl Martin of Tuscaloosa. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Greensboro, AL with Rev. Gervis Smith officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing. Pallbearers will be: JT Carter, Bradley Carter, Johnny Melton, Brandon Harris, Vinnie Harris and Adam Adams. Honorary pallbearers are members of the Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church.
